Huet headed to All-Star Game (01/13/2007) OTTAWA - Sheldon Souray will have some company on the flight to the All-Star Game in Dallas on Jan. 24, as Cristobal Huet was named to the Eastern Conference roster Saturday afternoon. Huet will be making his All-Star debut and will share the goaltending duties with the Devils' Martin Brodeur and the Sabres' Ryan Miller. Entering Saturday's game in Ottawa, the French backstop was 17-8-3 with a 2.46 goals-against average. Huet is also in the race to take home the Roger Crozier Saving Grace Award for a second straight year, sitting second in the NHL with a .927 save percentage. He has made at least 30 saves on 16 occasions, setting a new career high with 44 stops on Nov. 30 against the Hurricanes. When he takes to the ice on Jan. 24, Huet will become the fourth Canadiens goaltender since 1969 to represent the team in the All-Star Game. Those before him include Ken Dryden with five appearances, Patrick Roy with six and Jose Theodore with two. Heather Engel is a writer for canadiens.com (Source: Canadiens.com)
